Sika tree of life WORKSHOP, Rangiora near Christchurch
October 15, 2022 @ 10:30 am - 4:30 pm$100 – $120
A magical day of visioning and sound journey.
Reconnect to the source.
One full-day experiential workshop with Sika.
Sika holds a safe space for us to drop into relaxation, to enter a magical world of sound and silence. A series of healing Sound Journeys throughout the day will invoke a primal memory, a gateway for reconnection to ourselves, to nature and to spirit.
Journey to the ‘Tree of Life’
Receive guidance and support from within with whatever you are experiencing.
Sika will lead guided visualisations that flow seamlessly into several live sound journeys throughout the course of the day. This powerful experience is like a day of listening to an epic soundtrack that is crafted to go with your life movie and then breaking it down and sharing it with the group.
Every journey is unique and everyone’s experience will be different. The primordial sound of the didgeridoo transports people into ancient landscapes and ancestral memories. Travel beyond time and space, see visions and gain valuable insights.
Most people choose to lie down.
The didgeridoo forms an important foundation for Sika’s music, however he also uses drums, native flutes, voice and a broad selection of historical Maori instruments. Sika plays intuitively in-the-moment, as his beloved collection of natural instruments open him and us to spirit. His deep vocal sounds add to the soundscapes, as do foraged natural objects like leaves, sticks, bones and shells.
Other sources of sound such as water, fire, trees, animals and wind are used with the ultimate intention to build soundscapes that enable us to leave time and enter a trance.
At this potent time, what’s coming through you? What do you need to call forth? What is your heart’s longing?
