Sika returns to Dartington Hall
In this intimate one-day workshop Sika will gently hold space for our own inner enquiry. We’ll experience a series of healing sound journeys throughout the day, carrying us into a state of deep relaxation. Workshop participants will also feel the physical vibration of the didgeridoo, as Sika moves around the space while playing.
Sika has been offering Sound Journeys for 25 years. Based in New Zealand, he is recognised by significant Māori, Native American and Aboriginal elders, including the Yuin tribe of South Australia.
Sika plays intuitively from his beloved collection of natural instruments: Didgeridoo, drums, native flutes, rattles and Māori taonga puoro (‘singing treasures’). He also uses voice, field recordings and natural objects like leaves and shells.
