2021 Vision – Sound Journey Experience, Pohara Hall

A special evening of shamanic-style visioning & sound healing.
***Please note two dates available: Wed 30th December 2020 and Wed 6th January 2021***
An opportunity to seek vision for the year ahead. At this potent time of change, what is your heart’s longing? What do you need to call forth? What is coming through?
Sika will play live from his beloved instruments – drums, didgeridoo, flutes, Taonga pūoro, shells, stones, leaves, voice – and more. There will be two journeys with an interval.
The past…
In the first journey we’ll go back in time. A chance to reflect upon the experiences of the past year. Some may feel called to travel back further… to ancient times, or to your ancestors. Sika will guide a shamanic meditation before playing a live sound journey. Afterwards he’ll call us back to the present.
The future…
After a brief interval we’ll journey again, this time into 2021 and beyond. Again, Sika will guide the beginning, then drop the words and let the sounds take over. Finally we’ll land back into our bodies… into our hearts… into the present.
About Sika:
Sika has been offering Sound Journeys for over 25 years and has the blessing of many Māori, Native American and Aboriginal elders, including the Yuin tribe of South Australia. He’s deeply humbled to share their instruments with people around the world.
What should I bring?
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow or anything else you need to lie down comfortably. Also recommend a water bottle and a journal.
Sound Journey CDs will also be available to buy on the night, cash only.
